1st XV Profiles -
Cameron Kennedy

Club Captain 2006 - 2010
Position: Flanker
D.O.B. 11.01.82
Ht 6ft1
Wt 14st.

From South Ayshire, studied Fish Farming at Barony College Dumfries. Cameron has represented the Midlands District. His previous club was Carrick RFC from Maybole, where his father has been involved for nearly thirty years. Cameron enjoys his rugby immensly and has a real passion for the club. His love of rugby is only perhaps surpassed by his love of poetry, cooking and dentistry work. Cameron now stays in Crieff, where he writes poetry and goes for walks.

Craig Gordon

Position: Tight Head Prop
D.O.B 12.10.67
Ht 6ft
Wt 18.5st.

As with all Crieff’s front row Craig was inspirational in the last two rounds of the plate. A powerful ball carrier for the team, he leads from the front and never gives up. Another ex-Captain with great experience and passion for the club, in a game Craig always does the right thing.(In his own eyes). Craig lives in Auchterarder and is a Managing Director of his own company.

Sean Horan

Position: Hooker

D.O.B 01.08.86
Ht 5ft6
Wt 14st.
Sean is now in his 4th season with Crieff and has been a great asset for the club.A convert from the Perth youth squad, since coming to Crieff a has really made a name for himself. Incredible ability to take ball against the head, as well as being a tenacious terrier in open field. Sean would do anything for the team. He was unfortunately injured in the quarter finals against Cumnock last season and has missed a couple of games. Now fully fit and raring to go much to the relief of Crieff fans. Sean lives in Muthill and is a joiner.
Sean is a tenacious player who's fiery performances are only matched by Sam Cramb's hair colour.

Gordon Innes

Position: Outside centre / Wing/fullback
Nickname: Chaos
D.O.B 13.01.84
Ht 5ft 11
Wt 12st.
A deceptively fast back Gordon has added a steely edge to the back line. Another product of the Morrison’s conveyor belt Gordon enhances a back line with versatility and guile. Hasn’t really grasped, nor taken to heart, the “drink responsibly” campaign.

Kenny Butler

Position: Scrum half
D.O.B 15.09.68
Ht 5ft7
Wt 14st.
Kenny is a die hard Crieff man who always gives 100%. He attended Morrisons Academy and has a good rugby brain. One of the teams’ best trainers, his commitment is something that everyone can learn from. He has played for Haddington, Oban and Peterhead. Kenny lives in Auchterarder and is a Managing Director of his own company.

Jamie Coffey

Position: Centre
D.O.B 21.01.87
Ht 5ft11
Wt 13st.

Craig Wishart
Position: Fullback
D.O.B 19.02.85
Ht 6ft
Wt 13.5st.
Craig is a product of Crieff High School and our youth system. He was an instrumental player for the under 18`s and is now an experienced, very reliable full back for the first fifteen. Craig is also an extremely talented runner with a mean side step and pace to burn. Craig is studying medicine in Edinburgh and hopes to become a top class surgeon one day. Despite his heavy workload Craig is always available and has not missed a game this season.

Adam Murdoch

Position: Wing
D.O.B 26.02.90
Ht 6ft3
Wt 12.5st.
The young man of the team. Don’t be deceived though, Adam has tremendous pace and finishing ability and is strong in defence and has a great

Scott Adams
Position: Utility back\ Back row
D.O.B 05.10.87
Ht 6ft1
Wt 13.5st
Scott Adams another Crieff High School product has had a tremendous season. Always looking to learn and improve his game. Scott can always be counted on, and for that reason has massive respect within the club. Scott has also given a lot back to the club and whilst doing his SVQ, coached the midis and helped get interest in the club from all the local schools. He did this as well as train and play with the first fifteen. Scott lives in Braco and is studying Sports and Exercise Science at Falkirk College.

Pierre Leger
Position: Prop
D.O.B 15.07.68
Ht 5ft10
Wt 16st
Parisian Pierre moved to Crieff 12 years ago, and has played for the club since. He is a solid scrummager, but has pace and ability to go with it, as he used to play on the wing. Nowadays it is not only strength but Gaelic flare. Pierre is another great club man, and does anything that is asked of him. He was supposed to be touring with the seconds and although paid up, has decided to represent the Blue and Golds on this momentous day, which is something that the squad and coach are thankful for. Pierre lives in Crieff and works within the Gourmet foods industry.

Ross Coventry

Position: Prop
D.O.B. 25.09.80
Ht 6ft
Wt 16st.
Ross has really come into his own this season and is undoubtedly playing his best rugby this season. Has played for the Blue and Golds for a number of seasons. He was instrumental in disrupting opponent’s scrums in the two previous rounds of the plate. As well as his scrummaging Ross has ability in open field, essential in the Crieff style of rugby. Ross lives in Auchterarder and runs a fencing company.
